About me

My name is Anat, mother of two sons: Omer (2002) and Noam (2006). I am an architect.
The idea of a baby carrying shirt developed in my mind after my younger son Noam was born.

Noam was and still is a baby attached to me all day long.

He always falls asleep during nursing and sleeps well and deeply only when attached to me.

I did not have the option of putting him down even for a short while in order to put on a baby carrier,
because he woke up and did not return to sleep.

Because of the importance of sleep during the first months of his life, I was in survival conditions due to hunger, exhaustion and continence…

I knew that the only time I had for myself during daytime is the short time of getting organized and dressed in the morning. I thought that it would be fine if I could put on something that will not be cumbersome that I will wear all day and which will serve as a carrier for Noam in a simple and instantaneous way.

This is how the idea was conceived, after I returned to the world from the endless fatigue during the first months of Noam's life I started the development process.

From my experience as an architect – design, shaping and development of the plastic product, its language, as well as the areas of industrial and graphic design are not strange to me and are incorporated daily in my work in the most natural way. Therefore I approached this project with full understanding of the required development stages. This combined with feminine wisdom and maternal instincts guided me.

I was assisted by fashion designer, by a devoted crew of testers – mothers of newly born babies growing and developing with the carrying shirts in its three models and by milega which was found to be the manufacturer of the unique, quality and most suitable fabrics for those products.

I believe that if I had a baby carrying shirt after Noam's birth, my eldest son Omer would have also enjoyed a more relaxed and patient mom.

I hope that the baby carrying shirts will benefit parents, babies and also the older children in managing their life routine in a fluent and calm manner and enable pleasant family life at home and outside.

Yours,
Anat.
